Aboutus
Seneca Heat & Air is a referral service: we put Seneca homeowners in touch with one licensed local HVAC contractor, and publish what heating and air work costs before anyone calls.
What is this service?
A referral service for heating and air conditioning in Seneca, Clemson, Walhalla and the towns around Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell.
Most people who need an HVAC contractor need one quickly, usually on the first hot week of summer or the first cold morning in fall. They want to know three things: who will come, roughly what it will cost, and how soon. This site answers the second question on every page, and sends the request to someone who can answer the other two.
Who does the work?
An independent contractor licensed by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, and insured.
They call you back, look at the system, give you a written price and do the job under their own license and warranty. You deal with them directly from the first call. You can check any South Carolina contractor’s license on the LLR license lookup.
Why publish prices?
Because nobody else around here does, and a range up front saves everyone a wasted visit.
The ranges on the prices page and in the estimator come from published cost guides and Upstate contractor price lists, updated for 2026 equipment prices. They are ranges, not quotes: the contractor prices your job after seeing it.
What we ask of the contractor
The contractor we work with agrees to the basics in writing.
- A current South Carolina license for the work, and insurance.
- A permit on every system replacement that needs one.
- A written price before any work starts.
- A load calculation, not a guess, before quoting a new system.
How does the service make money?
The contractor pays us for referrals. It does not change what you pay, and you are never obliged to hire them. The disclosures page has the details.
